Tottenham Trials for Crest sharp shooters

There have been several successes for year groups representing the Crest Academy at Football, including a recent 10-0 win against local rivals Alperton Community School. Five students have been selected for a trial at Tottenham Hotspur’s Elite Development Squad at Under 13’s and Under 15’s level.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students, who are aiming to grab the opportunity to fulfil their dreams of becoming a professional footballer. Under 13’s player Jaakub said of the opportunity: “I am so excited and have been working hard both on and off the pitch to be ready. I enjoy working hard, but I know that my school work and behaviour has to be at the same level. My teacher Ms Pond has always believed in me and told me if I keep working hard, the opportunity will come. The facilities are amazing and maybe I can be the next Dele Alli and see myself on Match of the Day”.

Raul said “I can’t wait to get started, I love football so much! I have heard Ms Pond talking about playing for Tottenham and how good the facilities are and now I get to see them for myself. Ms Pond has inspired us to believe we can achieve anything we work hard for and I really want to do my best making the school proud”.

Staff and students at the Crest Academy wish all involved the very best of luck!
