Our vision is to develop in our learners a clear confidence with regard to leading their own learning, knowing that each person learns in his or her own way, in his or her preferred style and with a knowledge that all barriers to learning can be overcome with determination, hard work and commitment. It is this message which is embedded in the mindset of our staff and students in the Inclusion Team at Crest.
- The inclusion agenda should be at the core of all that we do, not an add on but a starting point
- Differentiation for learners with additional needs must be a core staple of learning and teaching across the school
- Inclusion lessons should not seek to disempower but rather equip students with the skills so that they can achieve greatness

We deliver a range of courses to suit the needs of students with additional learning needs. Students who are identified as needing additional support may have in class support to support them with accessing the curriculum or may alternatively have an amended timetable accessing some mainstream lessons, with focused nuture group or EAL lessons to allow students to develop the skills and prior knowledge necessary to access the mainstream curriculum in the future.
We offer an Inclusion homework club for students after school 5 days a week, run by Mr Pereira and Ms Thompson in the Inclusion Centre.
